Privacy policy

EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 20, 2026

Ukrštenica works without an account. This page explains what data we use when you play, why, and how you can see or delete it.

01

Who processes the data

The data controller is Miodrag Simeunović PR Računarsko programiranje Pregršt, Grdička 18, 36000 Kraljevo, Serbia. Registration no. (MB) 65205408, tax ID (PIB) 111121635. Email: office@gardoim.com.

This policy is governed by the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

02

Playing without an account

You do not need an account to play. Without one, your settings, progress and streak are stored only on your phone and are never sent to our server. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

03

Accounts and data on our server

An account is optional and lets you keep your progress and streak across devices. You can create one with an email and password, or sign in with Google or Apple.

If you create an account, our server stores: your email address, your name if you enter it or we receive it from Google or Apple sign-in, your month and year of birth, and your progress for each day (letters entered, solving time and whether the puzzle was solved). Passwords are stored only in hashed form.

The legal basis is providing the service you asked for by creating an account.

04

Age

When you create an account we ask for your month and year of birth. People under 15 cannot create an account, in line with Serbian data protection law. They can still play without one, and their data stays on the phone.

05

Ads (Google AdMob)

Ads in the game are served by Google AdMob. Until you give consent in Google’s consent form, ads are non-personalized. On iOS, personalized ads also require your tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency).

AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier and an approximate location based on your IP address. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time in the game’s Settings, under Privacy.

06

Crash reports (Sentry)

When the app crashes, we send a technical report to Sentry so we can find and fix the bug. The report contains the phone model, the system and app versions and a description of the error. It does not contain your name or email.

07

How long we keep data

We keep account data for as long as the account exists. When you delete your account, we delete it together with all your progress. Crash reports are kept for at most [NUMBER] days.

08

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, and to withdraw consent. For any of this, write to office@gardoim.com from your account’s email address. We reply within 30 days.

If you believe your rights have been violated, you can contact the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs).

09

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app, under Settings → Delete account, or by email. The steps are on the Delete account page.

10

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page. We tell you about major changes in the app.
